This was today’s sunset sky. I sat with my mother and son on the front porch and enjoyed the progression from pink to fire orange to subtle violet and peach. As we watched, I was reminded how special the Arizona sunsets are as my son, who is deep in the throws of college applications and entrance exams, said “I won’t see skies like this wherever I go away to school.”
