I photographed this Variegated Meadowhawk (Sympetrum corruptum) at Agua Caliente Park.
Known, and named, for the natural hot springs, Agua Caliente on Tucson’s far northeast side is a wonderful place to spend a morning. The park includes nature trails, ponds, hot springs, numerous birds – including wild owls, diverse plant and insect life and an art gallery.

Something so small that it might go unnoticed, it’s one of Nature’s amazing creations.
