Remembering the Service Men & Women

My Uncle George passed away this morning. He was in the service in the 1950’s and became a member of the military police stationed in Puerto Rico. Because he died on Memorial Day weekend, the holiday will be just a bit more bittersweet than it already is.

To all the men and women who, in laying down their lives, have helped to preserve the liberties this great nation of ours upholds, and which the rest of us can so easily take for granted: bravo!

  1. Great Post! I heard someone say yesterday this following statement: “Every war that we have fought ever since we became a nation reminds us of the price of freedom.” What a true statement. We will never forget!
